This is a soft and supple, almost lyrical wine with great acidity. There are hints of black fruit qualities on the finish, which are highlighted by more herbal and citrus freshness in the middle palate. The sophistication on the nose lifts the wine's complexity with its perfume-based bouquet.
Blend: 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Franc
"Fresh and vibrant, with polished tannins around a lively core of sage- and chocolate-accented raspberry and currant flavors, remaining deft and inviting as the flavors linger. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Drink now through 2019. 925 cases made."
" Good medium red. Red berries and plum on the very ripe nose. Sweet and sappy in the mouth, with good energy to its intense flavors of crushed raspberry and cranberry. Finishes with suave, sweet tannins and lingering spice character. The pHs in 2009 are on the high side, noted Camarda, but I find this to be a very successful vintage for this bottling."

"Named for his own vineyard, Chris Camarda's 2009 Two Blonds represents a blend of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon with 31% each of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Mint, hedge flowers, blond tobacco, citrus oils, and dark berries inform a fetching nose and a strikingly silken palate with ample retention of primary juiciness, leading to an exuberant finish intriguingly inflected with iodine and peat."
