Winemaker's Notes

This single vineyard bottling has a very complex nose, which takes a little time to open. Then, cherries and dark fruit can be recognized with some earthy tones mixed in. On the palate there is a hint of sweetness which leads into big cherry flavors with well-balanced acid and tannins. The wine gives a long finish and we believe it will cellar for up to 15 years. It is our first Vineyard bottling for Schouten Vineyards.
