We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
Positively brimming with fruity aromatics and flavors, we find this wine (made from grapes from our certified organic estate vineyards) dominated by a mix of fresh crushed berries and dark cherries, shot through with a floral-spice element and a beet-root-meets-cola essence. The wine showcases the dark rich side of Pinot Noir and already has a supple smooth texture with clean acidity. We'd suggest roasts and grilled
meats as accompaniments; barbeque shrimp with grits; pan-roasted salmon filets, etc!
"While the fruit flavors have ripened to dark cherry and currants, there's still a transparency to the wine, a rosy briskness that lightens the richness. The sandy tannins have a dark, cola-like tone. For roast duck."
