In translation from the Spanish language, Aliento del Sol means "Spirit of the Sun." This name refers to California's Spanish history, but more importantly to the cool and sunny climate of California's coast. The maritime influence of the Pacific Ocean creates morning fog and afternoon winds: an ideal climate for the production of world-class Burgundian varietals. In order to handcraft the finest wines, we have selected specific vineyards within the Central Coast appellation, which includes Monterey, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara Counties. Our consulting winemaker, Christian Roguenant employed traditional techniques and modern technology to create wines that express ripe fruit flavors with balance and finesse.
