When the "Il GALAMPIO" farm was recently replanted with Brunello we decided to leave part of the old vineyard in order to continue the production of the glorious "GALAMPIO ROSSO".
Produced in very limited quantities and aged for at least two years in Slovenian oak casks, it has become an intermediate between Rosso di Montalcino, cask-aged for at least one year, and Brunello which requires a minimum ageing period of at least four years.
It goes extremely well with meat dishes, game and cheeses and should be served at around 18° C
