Winemaker's Notes:

Classic Adelsheim Vineyard Pinot gris's are crisp, elegant, and with clean winesap apple and bosc pear flavors. The 1997 bottling astounds us in its combination of explosive flavors and rich mouth feel. The salmon color in the wine hints at the ripeness of the grapes in 1997, and though it is certainly the most open Pinot gris we've ever released, we can't help but smile about the future.
