Made from an Old Wente clone, it exhibits a greenish hue to its color along with notions of tangerines, honeysuckle and orange marmalade, wonderful texture and opulence, a wet gravelly nuance, and a full-bodied finish. One of the top Chardonnays in Kistler’s 2011 portfolio, it should drink well for 5-6 years.
