Winemaker Notes
Soft and supple upon entry, the wine extends to offer concentrated flavors of cracked black pepper, anise and coriander. Delicate and opulent, the mouthfeel is further enhanced by soft and velvety tannins to provide a signature cool climate Shiraz.

There's tension between the sweet red berry flavors of this wine and the more savory, beefy, sanguine side. Ripe, wild strawberry flavors persist through the finish along with suave tannins that have the scent of pencil lead. It's supple and accessible over the next several years with game, such as roast saddle of venison.

Wine Spectator
A luscious mouthful of red plum, raspberry and blueberry fruit poised artfully against hints of white chocolate, mineral and nutmeg as the flavors wax and linger effectively. Drink now through 2015. 800 cases imported.

Moët & Chandon acquired the site in 1986 and today it is where they grow high quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for Green Point still wines. They have selected other sites in Victoria and the Yarra Valley that provide the ideal marriage of "terroir" with variety for the other Green Point varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Shiraz).
