01. Wine Club - What are the differences, details and benefits of your wine clubs?
Wine Clubs are subscriptions in which members receive 2 bottles of wine each month, delivered to their door. Wines are selected by our staff of Wine Experts, who provide tasting notes, suggested food pairings, and information about the wineries and regions related to each wine. Whether for your personal enjoyment or sent as a gift, Wine Clubs are a fun, educational and convenient way for wine enthusiasts or wine beginners to explore the world of wine, make new discoveries and expand one's knowledge and palate. Our Wine Club wines are not private label, but come from real wineries that are highly acclaimed or soon-to-be discovered. Our goal is to send you wines you'll want you to order again! The Discovery Tour wine club features new and emerging wines, and is aimed at subscribers who enjoy wine but are not experts and are looking to learn more. The Wines of the World wine club features more premiere wines from acclaimed wineries, and is aimed at subscribers who are regular wine drinkers and would like to explore new tastes. The Avec Eric Perfect Pairings wine club is for foodies who love wine. Top Chef guest judge and Le Bernardin 4-star chef Eric Ripert, and sommelier Aldo Sohm pair spectacular wines and recipes. The 90 Point Rated wine club offers ultra premium, age worthy wines rated 90 points or higher within the last three vintages by the world’s wine critics. This is a red wine only club for those who enjoy the best! All of our wine clubs include: · Two premium wines selected by our wine experts · Convenient delivery to your home or office · Detailed tasting notes on each wine with suggestions for food pairings · A 15% discount on reorders of club wines (while supplies last). Discount is not valid on re-orders for the Avec Eric Perfect Pairings wine club. · Monthly subscription to an email newsletter for club members only with wine tips, information on wine regions & trends, special offers and seasonal recipes
02. Wine Club - What are the prices on ongoing, month-to-month vs. pre-paid clubs?
Pre-paid Wine Club memberships include the cost of Shipping and Handling in the one-time initial payment. Our ongoing, month-to-month Wine Club prices do not include the cost of Shipping and Handling, which will be added to each month's shipment. The Shipping and Handling rate will be reflected in the shopping cart upon the order and as a line item on all subsequent orders, as shown in Order Confirmations emailed before each shipment. During summer and winter months, wine club shipments may be charged slightly higher shipping rates to cover rapid delivery to minimize the chance of heat or frost damage. 03. Wine Club - How do I give a wine club gift subscription?
Our prepaid Wine Club memberships were created for convenient gift giving, with 3, 6, and 12-month subscriptions available. Gift recipients receive all member benefits for the length of their membership.
TIMING OF YOUR WINE CLUB GIFT - Please note that all wine club initial orders and the included welcome packet and wine club details are shipped within 5 business days of the order being placed. If you have a specific delivery date in mind, I am afraid we can't specify that exact date for the first delivery to occur.
EMAIL A GIFT NOTICE - If you include your wine club gift recipient's email address, they will receive your gift message and notice that a delivery is coming. It also ensures their access to all member benefits and future shipping notices.
04. Wine Club - When are wine club orders shipped each month?
Wine Clubs are processed and shipped during the middle two weeks of each month, but no later than the 25th. Wine club shipments will arrive within 5 business days of processing.
There are a few exceptions to our wine club shipping schedule, as follows:
- The first shipment of a new membership is sent within 5 business days from the time the order was placed and cannot be held for later delivery. - November and December shipments are sent early to avoid holiday delivery delays. - During extreme weather conditions, we will delay the club shipment until the weather is suitable to ship your package using standard shipping.
05. Wine Club - Can I use Steward-Ship to receive free shipping for my wine club?
No, the Steward-Ship shipping discount does not apply to ongoing monthly wine club shipments. These shipments are all shipped standard delivery and the current shipping and handling rate is automatically applied to the order.
06. Wine Club Member - How do I order more wine club wines and get my special discount?
Wine Club members may reorder any Wine Club wines as long as supplies last. We encourage you to sample your two wines and reorder within 30 days for best availability. Wine Club members are eligible for a 15% discount on any wines featured in previous Wine Club shipments, when purchased within 30 days of the initial shipment. Please note, this discount offer is not valid for Avec Eric Perfect Pairing wine club. When you place your order, simply enter the Promotion Code provided with your initial Wine Club shipment in the Promo Code field of your shopping cart, which appears just below the list of items in your order. If you can't find or don't remember your Promotion Code, please visit our Customer Care area and submit your question using the "Ask a Question" form provided.
07. Wine Club Member - How do I change my wine club address, credit card, etc?
To request updates or changes to your Wine Club subscription, please visit our Customer Care area and submit your new information using the "Ask a Question" form provided. If you are a gift recipient, you may need to create an account in order to proceed. Please include a recent order number, and your exact shipping name and address, to help us find your Wine Club subscription. If your update includes new or updated credit card information, first log into Your Account from the top of any Wine.com page, click "Billing Information" and make your changes, then notify us through the "Ask a Question" form. (For the security of your credit card data, please do not submit card numbers using this form.) Please note: Changes made in Your Account do not automatically affect standing Wine Club subscriptions. When making these updates, please follow up by visiting Customer Care and submitting your new information using the "Ask a Question" form as well, so we can make sure the changes are applied to your subscription.
08. Wine Club Member - Can I skip a month with a pre-paid or month-to-month club?
Yes, skipping a month is easy. Just contact us before your monthly club is shipped, and we can skip that month.
With pre-paid wine club subscriptions, any month that is skipped will be added to the end of your subscription, thereby extending it by one month.
With ongoing, month-to-month wine clubs, any month that is skipped will not be auto-charged to your credit card on file. We would sinply resume the shipping and billing of your club the next month.
09. Wine Club Member - How do I cancel an ongoing, month-to-month subscription?
To cancel your Wine Club subscription, please visit the Customer Care and enter a question subject (e.g. "Cancel my Wine Club"). On the next screen (below the list of possible solutions), click "Submit Your Question" to send a message to our Customer Care team with your request. You can also call 800-592-5870 to make your request by phone. Please note that any wine club shipments that are already in process or in transit cannot be canceled. In cases where shipments are already in process, your cancellation would take affect for the next month's shipment.
10. Wine Club Member - How do I sign up for the exclusive Wine Club Member Newsletter?
Wine Club members who wish to sign up for the Wine Club Newsletter that is exclusively designed and made available to our Wine Club members can do so by filling out the form found here: http://www.wine.com/clubnewsletter Please note: The sign-up procedure requires a recent order number as proof of Wine Club membership.
