Rich Bergsund Rich Bergsund, CEO
Rich Bergsund joined Wine.com as CEO in 2006, seeing it through a financial turnaround and transformed it into the largest online wine retailer. From 2000-2005, Rich was Founder and CEO of Joann.com, the leading online retailer in the hobby and crafts industry. Prior to that, Rich was a partner with Bain & Company where he worked in a wide range of industries including retail, consumer products, food processing, automotive, distribution, manufacturing, entertainment, aerospace, technology and real estate. Rich holds both MBA and undergraduate degrees from Stanford University.

Mike Osborn Michael Osborn, Founder & Vice-President Merchandising
Mike Osborn has been a pioneer in online wine retailing since founding Wine.com as eVineyard in 1998. Mike leads the company’s efforts in merchandising its wine and gifts, and holds key wine industry relationships worldwide. From 1992 to 1998, he held senior management roles as VP Sales and VP Marketing for CTR Business Systems, a software and systems integration business. In 1992, Mike merged his six-year-old software business he founded as a high school student, Expert Technology Corporation, with CTR.

Geoffrey Smalling Geoffrey Smalling, Chief Technology Officer
Geoffrey Smalling leads the technology group as CTO and has been with Wine.com since 2002. At Wine.com, Geoffrey has worked on web 2.0 consumer commerce interfaces, white label b2c sites and b2b integrations, CRM solutions scaling to multi-site call centers, and software that powers Wine.com’s network of logistics centers. Prior to Wine.com, he was a Software Consultant for Proxicom / Dimension Data, working on large websites like Niketown, BlueCross of California, Toyota USA, Mazda USA, and a state of the art legal portal for a leading legal services firm. Geoffrey holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Amy Kennedy Amy Kennedy, Chief Marketing Officer
Amy Kennedy leads marketing, corporate sales and customer service for Wine.com and joined the company in 2008. Previously, Amy was the head of marketing for Old Navy Online at Gap Inc., one of the largest retail apparel websites. At Gap Inc. she also held several leadership roles in brand marketing and strategy. Her prior experience included management consulting at McKinsey & Company and media planning at Saatchi & Saatchi and Deutsch Inc., serving brands such as Procter & Gamble, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, IKEA and Delta Air Lines. Amy holds a BA, cum laude, from Georgetown University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ken Chow Kenton Chow, Chief Financial Officer
Ken Chow joined Wine.com as the Chief Financial Officer in 2011 and brings over 25 years of experience in high growth public and privately held companies. Prior to joining Wine.com, he was the Chief Financial Officer at a number of high technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Aurora Networks, Catena Networks and Cobalt Networks. Ken’s experience includes leading a successful IPO, mergers and acquisitions, including Sun Microsystems’ $2 billion acquisition of Cobalt Networks, and over $350 million raised in multiple equity and debt financings. He also held senior financial management positions at Sun Microsystems, Symantec, Bay Networks and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Ken is a CPA and holds a MBA and B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University.

David Dô David Dô, Vice-President Operations
David Dô joined Wine.com in 2003. As VP Operations, David manages Wine.com’s network of logistics centers with a focus on stellar on-time delivery performance and cost management. Prior to joining Wine.com, David worked with AKA Gourmet, a leading gift basket company. In 1995, he founded Image Works, a multi-media firm where he worked on numerous companies’ catalog productions and their launch into e-commerce. Born and raised in Paris, France, David attended the Sorbonne and ENS Louis-Lumière where he obtained his Diplôme.

Bill Tomaszewski William Tomaszewski, General Counsel
Bill Tomaszewski has been the General Counsel for Wine.com since 2004. His main focus is working with state agencies on alcohol regulatory matters. Prior to his employment with Wine.com he served for 20 years with the Jersey City NJ Police Department in various roles. Bill is a graduate of Rutgers-Newark School of Law.

Robert Manning, Chairman of the Board & Investor

Rob Manning is a General Partner at Baker Capital, joining the firm in 2002. Prior to joining Baker Capital, Rob was CFO of Intermedia Communications, Inc., an integrated communications services provider, and a director of its majority-owned subsidiary, Digex, Inc., a provider of complex, managed, web hosting services. Intermedia was acquired for over $6 billion in 2001. Prior to Intermedia, he was an investment banker to the cable television and communications industries acting as both agent and principal. Rob left investment banking in 1991 to become one of the founding executives of DMX, Inc., the first satellite- and cable-delivered digital radio network, which was sold to Liberty Media in 1996. DMX spawned the satellite-delivered music industry, now popularized by XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio. Rob serves on the boards of Broadview, Inc.; Interxion, N.V.; PlusTV; and Wine.com (Chairman). He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Connecticut. Rob is a graduate of Williams College.

Peter Ekelund, Board Director & Investor

Peter Ekelund joined Baker Capital in 2006. Prior thereto, Peter was Managing Director of AB Novestra, a Stockholm-based public investment company with portfolio companies in Scandinavia and the US. Prior to Novestra, Peter was the Chairman of Framfab and the Managing Director of FilmNet Benelux, a new pay television company. He also worked as the business development manager of Nethold, b.v., the FilmNet parent and was involved in the introduction of digital TV and international acquisitions in Europe and Asia. Peter has extensive experience in organizing start-ups and digital media services. Peter received his degree in business administration from the Stockholm School of Economics. Peter serves on the boards of Interxion, N.V., and Wine.com.
