Winemaker's Notes

Ruby-red in color tending toward garnet as the wine matures. Dry and robust on the palate with an excellent, velvety texture, Valpolicella Classico Superiore offers fleshy aromas of wild berries, currant, black cherry and spice, framed by hints of chocolate. This wine can be aged for some years, and is recommended with antipasti or roasted meats.

Critical Acclaim

"The estate's 2007 Valpolicella Classico Superiore is a joyous red bursting with perfumed red fruit and sweet spices. This fresh, vibrant Valpolicella is best enjoyed on the young side. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2011. "
