winemaker's notes:

A blend of 95% Prosecco and 5% Chardonnay.  Crystal clear with a hearty white foam and fine perlage. Fresh fragrant aromas and a delicately soft and harmonious taste are the hallmarks of this quintessential aperitif wine.

"One of the finest of the bevy of light-bodied, crisp, tasty Proseccos in the marketplace, this blend of 95% Prosecco and 5% Chardonnay is frothy, fresh, and savory."-- Wine Advocate, 8/29/05

  Great valued fun - 2/11/2008
I would buy this wine again

Great deal! Fun, fruity but not too sweet. Wonderful with your sweetie or for a girlie afternoon. Pairs well with Mahjong.

My parents RAVED about this wine and begged me to send more!

A Customer - NYC
Tried this first in the Veneto. It's a particularly yummy aperitif.

I could wax poetic about the taste and texture. I could go on and on about the hints of fruit and the delicacy of bouquet. I will keep it simple.....This is quite simply one of the best sparking wines I have ever drank. BAR NONE! 10/10

I keep going back to this bubbly. Lemony zest but it has a hint of honey. Bubles are on the small size. Great value

A Customer - Wisconsin
I have searched to find a Prosecco available in the U.S. that would remind me of the great bottles shared with friends in Europe. We couldn't hold a glass without also holding a hunk of Asiago cheese. Zardetto's is fine living.

A Customer - NEW MEXICO
I ORDERED A HALF CASE OF THIS WINE AS A NEW YEAR'S EVE BACK UP TO MY PRINCIPAL SELECTION. THE ZARDETTO WAS FAR AND ABOVE THE FAMILY FAVORITE OF ALL THE WINES I SERVED DURING THE HOLIDAY. A VERY EXPENSIVE TASTE AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE!!!

leondb@excite.com - HI
Outstanding! With this kind of quality and such a tiny price tag, I'd say this "Sparkler" gives the expensive guys like Mumm, a run for their money! This is a definate MUST for a night of wine drinking!

claud_j@firn.edu - Florida
I found this on a trip to Italy two years ago, and am so glad it is available in the U.S. I buy it by the case, and give bottles to special friends. Try making a bellini, add peach nectar. Hmmm, I wonder about mango... Enjoy this light sparkling wine.
