The 2008 season, with long warm summer days and cool nights, produced fruit with ideal ripeness and sugar balance.
Lifted strawberry and red cherry fruit with gamey notes. Complimented with subtle vanillin oak.
Good structure and persistence with great depth of fruit and savory notes on the finish. This wine has been fermented in open fermenters with regular plunging. Part fermentation in aged French oak barrels was also included in the winemaking process.
Smooth & Supple
Great value! Sweet and light. Long finish
Never had wine from Australia but me and my fiance went to the Pasadena wine festival and tried some. We both feel in love with this wine. Its sweet, great for both "light weights" and drinkers a like.
This wine sounded better on paper then it tasted in the glass. It seemed very watered down with a bit of a bite. Not fun to drink, really like having some warm grape juice. Based on the reviews and descriptions I thought I'd really enjoy it but I was just disappointed.
I found the wine to be a bit bitter. I was not very pleased with it.
