Anybody that looks down their nose at the Yellow Tail label owes it to themself to try this Reserve Shiraz. Around the $10 mark, this has become my favorite wine value. A spicy berry nose, followed by rich fruit flavors of cherry and raspberry, with some cocoa mixed in. Understated tannins give this wine a nice structure and contribute to a long, smooth finish. Really hard to go wrong with this quality at this price point. Very much recommended.
I enjoyed the 2006 vintage, I had been looking for a 2005, but hasve been unable to find it in my area. It was a wonderful wine for about $11. Had it with red meat and it was a great compliment.
