Winemaker's Notes

Vibrant crimson with purple hues, the Yalumba Y Series Shiraz Viognier, has a nose that is very expressive of its grape origins showcasing aromas of violets, blueberries and Turkish delight, with hints of ground spices. Medium bodied with lots of red berry fruits, the supple tannins and generous fruit flavours are typical of this contemporary red wine blend.

Critical Acclaim

"This is velvety, with a spicy tone from the Viognier adding interest to the bright red berry and red plum flavors, lingering on the vivid finish. Drink now through 2012. 9,500 cases imported."
