The Yalumba Y Series Shiraz is bright red in colour with a vibrant berry nose
with hints of licorice, spices and delicious mocha chocolate. The palate is complex
and well balanced with yummy fruits of berries and plums and offers depth and
fine tannins.

This wine has a wonderful berry nose, simple, fresh and young. It is however a bit disappointing on the pallate. Too soft for a shiraz, not delivering any of the spicy tones that one would expect.

This is a wonderfully smooth, drinkable table wine, bursting with blackberry (not black rasberry) flavor, and hints of vanilla. It is young, and has a simple nose in my opinion, but for the money, I thought it was fantastic...and i'm usually a Pinot fan and lean towards more complex wines.
