Winemaker's Notes

With a fine ruby color, Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese Rosé has exotic aromas of raspberries, strawberries and cream with notes of lilac and violets, all with a minerally edge. A succulent mouth feel is enhanced by flavors of strawberry, rhubarb and cinnamon. It opens to a fine dense body of wine with a soft texture that is long and beautifully balanced.

Refreshing, fruity, but not sicky sweet. Goes great with grilling, light foods, or just relaxing and sharing time with a friend or loved one. I would have bought more, but you ran out. So I could only get 18 bottles.

looks great in the glass; has some appeal to the nose; lacks the character of a rose from Provence or the Rhone region

Save your money and instead buy a $2 bottle of wine. That's what this wine taste like. It reminded me of the original Gallo box wine I drank in college but not as sweet. It is dry with light flavor but due to its harsh initial taste and chemical-like aftertaste, I recommend staying away from this.
