"($45) Saturated, bright ruby-red. Very primary aromas of black cherry, raw berries and licorice; slightly medicinal in a positive way. Concentrated, intense and penetrating; extremely youthful, especially considering the fact that it's already five years old. Possesses a tight core of sappy, spicy fruit complicated by a note of fresh herbs. Finishes with a powerful tannic spine but avoids hardness. This should evolve in bottle for many years."

Medium red in colour with purple hints. Lifted ripe Coonawarra Cabernet, sweet and stalky, underpinned with nougat, chocolate and spicy oak. The palate displays upfront sweet berry fruit of medium weight with long grainy tannins and a firm finish. Cellaring potential of up to 10 years.
