Yalumba has, for more than 150 years, been a vital part of the Barossa, making wines that reflect the best of the region. This wine is no exception. Made from Barossa Shiraz grown on 30-50 year old vines, this vintage has been enhanced with an added splash of Viognier - a rare and exotic grape variety. The Viognier has added a sweet floral lift on the nose, supporting the Shiraz flavours of plums, dark cherries and spice, and has given the wine a richer mouthfeel and silky texture.
