Dark ruby in color. Bouquet is a little reserved right now but with a telltale fruitiness which hints at warm cherry pie and anisette. Very interesting perfume, which needs time in glass to really blossom. Flavors of raspberry, cherry, blueberry, anise and chocolate. Great acidity and mouth feel, full-bodied with moderate tannins, long and brooding. Great thick juice. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
