Our Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon displays the ripe blackberry, plum and spice character of this outstanding vintage. We selected the majority of the grapes from vineyards in the Lodi AVA (American Viticultural Area), accented with grapes from the Central Coast AVA. To naturally soften the tannins and enhance varietal expression, we gave the wine extended skin contact after fermentation. Aging in small French and American oak barrels added just a hint of oak to the lingering finish.
The approachable, fruit-focused style of our Cabernet Sauvignon is especially delicious paired with three-pepper pizza, grilled flank steak or coq au vin (chicken cooked in red wine). It is also decadent to sip with chocolate truffles by the fire.
