Wolf Blass Yellow Label Shiraz 2004
Syrah/Shiraz
from South Australia, Australia
winemaker's notes:
The 2004 Wolf Blass South Australia Shiraz is vivid, dark red with a bouquet of strawberries and raspberries. The palate is full-bodied with a creamy texture, integrated oak and a firm finish.
Suggested food: Lamb fillets with rosemary infused potato mash.
Cellaring: Enjoy now or cellar for up to five years.
"Shows distinctive Barossa style, with a touch of alcoholic warmth to the super ripe blackberry liqueur flavors. Ample oak imparts toast, vanilla, mint and chocolate complexity. It's a big, full-bodied wine, but because of its ripeness is approachable now."

Very pretty wine regardless of the price. Vivid red, a nice medium-full, fruity palate with a touch of spiciness and an even finish with very fine/light tannins. Plum & raspberry minerals with a hint of oak on the nose. Superb with a ribeye. This screw- cap wine tasted
just as good on day two at room temperature! That's what got me.
