I recently had a bottle of the 1995 vintage of this wine at a friend's and have been looking for it ever since. It retails in the UK for 30 Pounds a bottle! I'm ordering 2 bottles of the 1996 in expectation of more of the same and at $17 a bottle, it's a bargain.
It had HUGE Blackberry Jam aromas and that follow through to the palate and a very dark, heavy body. Just the kind of Intense wines I like. Not for the faint hearted.
