We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
Our philosphy is to produce a distinctive Marbrough Pinot Noir and the 2008 is no exception. A wonderful core of spice, ripe fragrant plum, and broading forest fruits command the aromatics. The tannins are long, chewy and silky, coupled with sublime acid balance. Adding structure and natural weight to the subtle French oak, spice and coca notes. A hall mark of Whither Hills Pinot Noir is the purity of fruit; dark dense generous elegant flavors and subtle power.
"Outstanding clear crimson colour; a beautifully articulated and crafted pinot, with effortless red fruit flavours and silky texture; gold medal at Air New Zealand Wine Awards no surprise."
