Scents of ripened wild cherries, rose petals, violets, mocha, minerals and exotic spice come through in the nose of this wine. It shows rich structure and good balance with overall concentration and depth of fruit. Sweet red fruits, notes of earth and a long, lingering finish complete this wine. It needs time to mature in the bottle.
"Good dark red. Black cherry, rhubarb, spices, tar and pepper on the aromatic nose. Juicy and spicy but not particularly sweet or generous. This seems quite ripe, and finishes with smooth tannins, and yet I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor intensity. Rather oaky."
