We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
The aromas of Bing cherries, wild berry fruits, root beer, mocha and rose petal begin your journey. The affluent, round tannins allow this medium-bodied wine to exemplify flavors of pie cherries, plum, earth, sassafras, fennel and burnt caramel that were seen in the 2006 vintage. Much of the fruit is from Westside Road vineyards, and the higher natural acidity helps the clean, lingering finish to end with hints of berry pie.
"Sweet wild berry scents of raspberries and strawberries balance the earthy mushroom and peppercorn savor of this pinot noir. That simple balance of fruit and earth lasts, smooth and ready for roast duck. "
Wine & Spirits
"Deep red. Fresh red berry, orange peel and baking spice aromas offer very good clarity, taking on a floral quality with air. Vibrant redcurrant and wild strawberry flavors are light on their feet, with tangy citrus peel and white pepper adding verve. Finishes sweet, clean and brisk. Cabral told me that this is virtually all Russian River Valley fruit, and that 40% of the grapes were estate-grown. "

The atmosphere of Sonoma is decidedly laid back and down home country style. But in wines, they are keeping up with the...Read More About Sonoma County
