winemaker's notes:

Vibrant and explosive aromas of roses, cherries and wild strawberries dominate with hints of sweet juice and warm spices. Flavors mirror aromas with strawberries, and cherries dominating complemented by juicy and spicy characters. The mouthfeel is soft, round, juicy and well-balanced with fresh acidity which highlights the fruitiness.

Wonderful by itself or with turkey, hamburgers, pizza, grilled fish, lighter wild fowl, or pasta dishes with sun dried tomatoes.

Good value if you can get it for less than $20 - 6/22/2008

I would not buy this wine again
This wine looks a bit over-filtered and is so clear you can read through it (1 of 2). The bouquet is also nothing to write home about, promising nothting special, but sending no warning flags either (2 of 4). Fortunately, this wine tastes much better than it looks and smells. A pleasant if uncomplicated taste rests lightly on the pallet, making pleasant drinking on it's own (6 of 10). Overall, this wine is okay for the price, but it may be to subtle for most food parings (2 of 4). I like this wine for under $20, but I wouldn't age it nor would I serve it with food more substantial than an appetizer platter. TOTAL (11 of 20)

  Lovely Pinot - 3/25/2008
I would buy this wine again
This pinot exhibits all of the characteristics of a classic pinot. Light, yet fruity, yielding an emerging bouquet as it opens. soft on the palette, yet resilient in its linger. would certainly recommend.

Kosher wine
Kosher
A Kosher wine begins like every other - as grapes on a vine. Once they reach the winery for crushing, the wine is under strict rabbinal supervision.
Screw Cap wine
Screw Cap
Many studies report and winemakers agree that screw caps protect wine better and preserve its flavor more effectively than cork. More importantly, screw caps eliminate cork taint caused by TCA, a compound which develops in a small percentage of corks and ruins the taste of wine.
