WillaKenzie Estate Emery Pinot Noir 2001
Pinot Noir
from Willamette Valley, Oregon
winemaker's notes:
The wine displays a concentrated mouthful of dense fruit, hints of black currant, with a sweet attack and a long, powerful finish. The structure is equally big and powerful with substantial, but very round tannins. The wine can be consumed now, but it will improve over the next 2 3 years and it has a 5-10 years cellaring potential. Given its massive structure, it is recommended that Emery be opened for a couple of hours, or preferably decanted, before enjoying it. The aeration will permit the release of its coiled layers of aromas and flavors. Enjoy with steak, barbequed ribs, grilled or baked eggplant dishes, or other rich, hearty fare.

Very flavorful with hints of dijon. Full body & delicious. Willakenzie's 2nd best offering next to Triple Black. I highly recommend.
