I do not typically like Sauvignon Blancs -they carry too much forward melon flavors and it is just not my thing. This wine is a total departure from that - I loved it. First had at Latitude 41 in Columbus, OH and had to order some. It is a very crisp wine that has all the great qualities of a NZ/AUS whites (full of crisp fruit, some earthy tones, and enough tang and acid to make you pucker just the right amount). And, while I did not want to use a bottle on it, it makes a mean St. Germain Sangria (combine a bottle of wine with 1 cup St. Germain Liquor, 5-6 fresh strawberries, several fresh raspberries, 2 fresh peaches, and white grapes). Definitely worth a try for those who have a similar melon aversion, and for those who do not and typically enjoy this type of wine, do exactly that and enjoy it with a friend!
