ratings pedigree (past vintages):
winemaker's notes:

Mid straw, with lemon tones. Vibrant currant-leaf, citrus and gooseberry aromas, with freshly cut herb undertones. A full flavored, medium bodied wine, with an abundance of archetypal currant and gooseberry flavors, that linger on the dry, clean finish.

Summer salads, poultry and shellfish, such as Marlborough's famous green shell mussels, as well as lobster and white fish.

critical acclaim:

"Pale lemon yellow hue. Lively aromas of yellow fruit and stone fruit with soft herbal undertones. Bright acidity and a fine balance of minerals with green and yellow fruit. Cool-climate acidity and lovely, well-balanced citrus notes. Neatly melds New and Old World qualities."

rating (9/29/2010):
Good New Zealaand Sav Blanc, the winemakers notes are pretty much right on, you can expect that wen you taste it. I put it on my wine list and personally for the price I would buy Kim Crawford (and KC sells better, a little cheaper) but all in all a good purchase.
rating (9/29/2010):
I have tried several of the Australian whites including the Yellow Tail, but this was the first New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that I recall trying. The scent (nose?) was dry and I could pick up the faint scent of kiwi and possibly some berries. Upon tasting, I really liked the lightness of the wine and the faint flavors of fruit.
rating (9/25/2010):

The most wonderful wine to pass your lips! Fun, delightful, and exciting!
