Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Deep ruby tone with purple sparkles springs up its stable and vigorous structure. Its tannic richness guarantees its longevity, but discreet ripe fruit prevails. A balanced full-bodied wine that has reminiscente fragrantes of oak on the long finish.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot.

Critical Acclaim

"Rustic and leathery smelling, the nose has hints of bell pepper, jalapeño and tomato. It feels mildly astringent but has good structure. The flavors of dried red fruit, tobacco, herb and sweet spice are mature and classic, and the finish has a good feel. This is a blend of 40% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot."
