Aromas are ripe yet elegant – sweet raspberry and black currant, complex with coffee bean and toast attributed by the barrel maturation. Flavours of vibrant ripe berry with similar toasted oak, anise and a subtle hint of terroir showing through on the long finish. This is a lovely, youthful, elegant wine which will reward those who have the patience.
