At release, the wine is a bright red with a vibrant purple hue. The wine has enticing, lifted fruit aromas of red currant and cherry fruits with a touch of spice and a very subtle minty, menthol character. The wine is medium-bodied with flavors of ripe cherry and sweet red berry fruits along with delicate star anise spice characters. The palate is sublimely soft with silky tannins.
