We offer two ways to locate information:
This Crimson rose has a touch of blue color in its spectra which cast a beautiful glint of pink something akin to strawberry coulis. The aromatics are also reminiscent of the wild mountain variety of the berry which shows itself readily and unabashed. There is a hint of hibiscus and orange blossom, but the intense strawberry comes right back and smacks the lips pleasantly. The midpalate moves onto tea leaf and Meyer lemon while remaining balanced in it lean structure. And finally the finish is ripe with cherry essence with bright Key lime acidity and the unmistakable strawberry skin texture making it the perfect summertime sipper.
This wine is reminiscent to the roses of Provançe (Southern France) in terms of quality, acid balance and flavor profile, but the color of our wine is much brighter and darker pink. We like this color as it sets the wine distinctly apart from White Zinfandel (which is either cotton candy or Salmon pink). As the wine ages it maintains its beautiful strong pink color, while its competitors show signs of oxidation by color shift. This wine pairs well with many small plates especially any salty fish dish including fresh anchovies and calamari, pommes frites, any Salmon dish as well as spicy pimientos de pardon.
