Petite Syrah is called "Pets" by veteran grape growers like Ken Wilson. So we dedicate this wine to his pet -- Tanker. Dark colored, long legged and bold, we feel this wine has the potential of becoming your best friend.
The winery donates a portion of their profits from this wine to local animal shelters.

A very nice Petite Sirah, on a par with the Foppiano, which is also really fine. This has a little lighter body than the Foppiana, and maybe a little more "floral" nose to it, but at these prices, I would highly recommend both. I did a side-by-side comparison of the two and both are great, just different.
