100% Garnacha from Navarra (hence the "G"), this wine is intensely purple-colored. Wild bramble-berry aromatics of wild raspberry and deep black cherry hint at its hidden complexity. The 75 year old vines yield a concentration and purity exceeding the expectations of its price point. Light tannins and acidity give way to a savory, lengthy finish. A great drink now and likely even better in the next several years.

What a fabulous wine. The entire G or Grenache series and M Monastrell series are nothing short of awesome. These are truly undervalued wines. Stock up while you can.

worst wine I have ever had, opened it up and it smelled moldy-tasted moldy. I called and they sent another bottle to replace the one I thought was bad. The replacement was just as bad. It was supposed to be fruity with very little tannins. However, it tasted like fermented laquer. NOT RECOMMENDED

Have opened two bottles and was looking for a sentence to best describe what we found. This does it: A still wine that is fizzy or effervescent has undergone a second fermentation after the bottling and shouldn't be enjoyed. ... actually it is couldn't be enjoyed.

This grenache was the driest I've ever tasted. It's hardly "smooth and supple" as someone at wine.com has suggested. Rather, this wine immediately dries your entire mouth and when you swallow there's little to remember. All traces vanish instantly leaving you wondering what the heck just happened. I'm used to a full-bodied, fruity grenache but the Vinos Sin-Ley Puntazo 2007 left little to be desired and was, in short, patently unremarkable.
