Vinos Sin-Ley G5 Garnacha Madrid 2005

Vinos Sin-Ley was started by two winemakers in 2003 -- Manuel Martínez from Madrid and Emili Esteve from near Barcelona in Catalonia. They gradually invited other winemakers into the group, and the primary releases of wines they have produced is their G series for the garnacha (grenache) grape which is widely grown in Spain. And, according to where and how the wine was made, the variations in the G-Series wines are amazing - each a unique expression of the land and climate where they were grown.

The G5 is made from 80-120 year old vines from Vinos de Madrid. The last vintage (the '05 hasn't been rated yet) received 92/100 from the Wine Advocate
