2006 was great! Bought a bunch. Haven't had the 2007 yet.
I'll admit to being an impatient wine drinker - and this wine absolutely needs its time. With air, this Rioja has a lovely smooth finish and pleasant fruit undertones.
This is review is after my second bottle of this Rioja. It has an overly strong tannin when first open, and not very pleasant. But if you just leave it for a day or two after opening, it opens up substantially and becomes very floral on the nose and fruity on the taste. Great for when you want to have slowly consume a bottle of wine through out a few days. 89.
