winemaker's notes:
Sourcing fruit from both the high and low altitudes of the Marlborough regions enables Villa Maria to make a Riesling that shows the attributes of both. The higher plains of the Awatere valley contribute to the pineapple nuances while the old river beds of the Wairau give the floral and citrus tones. This wine has many layers and its lively and refreshing palate lingers with an off-dry finish.

A Customer - Olympia, WA
Began drinking this in Glasgow in the late 1990s and completely fell in love with it. Far superior to the Washington and Alsatian Rieslings I was used to.
