Winemaker's Notes

Good clarity with light straw color. Fresh stone fruit, citrus, and herbs mingle with floral accents on the nose. Zesty, medium body with citrus, melon and herb flavors that linger on the palate. Perfect at the sushi bar, or for sipping on the porch and with fresh salads, goat cheese, poached fish and more.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2008 Sauvignon Blanc reveals an enticing nose of fresh cut grass, mineral, and citrus. Vibrant, ripe, and intense, it has excellent balance and length. Drink it over the next 12-18 months."
89 Points

"Captures the pungent, alert character inherent to Sauvignon Blanc. This is a peppy wine with spiky tropical and green-ruite aromas and flavors. It's a mash up of citrus and nettles, with a controlled, fairly long grapefruit-driven finish. Modest in price, but the real thing. "

I discovered this wine in MIA Airport while waiting for a delayed flight. I enjoyed it so much, I asked for the name to purchase it. And I did!

Great value in a Sauvignon Blanc. I have had this wine with and without food and it is always refreshing delicious--nicely balanced and not too fruity. Enjoy it with a variety of Asian foods, cheeses or on its own.

This bracing wine is not too sweet, and has refreshing flavors of grapefruit and honeydew melon. Nice to sip on its own, but also goes well with delicately spiced chicken and fish dishes.

The coastal mountain ranges surrounding the Casablanca estate create a unique terroir with a diversity of microclimates. The valley floor's cool climate is reminiscent of...

(CHEE-lay) Long and thin, Chile has a lot of land north to south. The wine region here is a series of districts based near Santiago. The vineyards are protected by the Pacific on the west and the Andes mountains on the east. This could help explain why the climate changes more from east to west than north to south - also why the country has remained phylloxera free....
