I don't know if there was a drought the year this baby was made but it is FANTASTIC! Amazing flavor and full body. I have tried other vintages and they are not even close to this one. Good luck finding this vintage!

Still enjoying this one. Here is a trick we have learned. Pour the entire bottle into a wide based decanter and leave top open (at room temp 74-77) for 18-24 hours. Amazing results. You will find remarkable blueberry and a super finish.

Just as with the Veramonte 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon, this 2001 has the same powerful blueberry that my dinner guests and I have enjoyed. If you are a red lover who wants to visit South America, this one is very nice and should be a must try.
