The black currant and cherry aromas are enhanced with sage and tobacco leaf notes. Complex and concentrated black cherry and cassis flavors are integrated with rich oak and dark chocolate on the finish. Supple tannins and balanced acidity provide excellent structure to this elegant and complex blend.

59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 4% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot

This wine/vineyard was a favorite of mine several years (and several assignments!) ago and I was thrilled to see an '06 vintage offered on wine.com. We considered this to be one of our daily wines, served at family dinner, shared by two wine enthusiasts who are totally not experts! It's a dark wine, with deep flavors, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't really like red wine. Will be buying it again!
