We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
The intense violet ruby colour invites you to discover the aromas of this Montepulciano d'bruzzo that does not engage in any contact with oak. The obvious varietal aromas remember red fruit, sour black cherry with hints of wild berry. It has a great structure and concentration, wonderfully sustained from an obvious acidity.
The tannins are striking and perfectly mature giving this wine a surprisingly round taste.
"The 2009 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Vigne Nuove is a fresh, unoaked red with beautifully plump, juicy red fruit that layers nicely into a delicate, feminine finish. Floral notes add lift and freshness. This is a steal for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013. "
