The 2011 Twomey Russian River Valley Pinot Noir has a red rose petal to ruby color. It has a nose of potpourri, strawberry jam, conifer bark, wild chanterelles and black truffle with hints of cinnamon, ginger and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is fruit-sweet and very full-bodied with flavors of ripe red berries and malt. It finishes with bright acidity and medium grained tannins.
