The 2010 Max's Garden Shiraz is a rich red color. Aromas of cherries, spice, raspberries, sandalwood and cedar. Smoky, very perfumed and elegant. This Shiraz is very energetic on the entry with vibrant raspberries and spice. Juicy through the whole palate with subtle earthy/graphite on the late palate, all supported by a good acid framework.
"Glass-staining ruby. Cassis, anise, Indian spices and woodsmoke on the intensely perfumed nose. Supple on entry, then sappy and vibrant in the middle, with sharply delineated flavors of boysenberry and bitter cherry. Shows very good energy on the clinging finish, which features gently chewy tannins and a touch of spicecake."
