We offer two ways to locate information:
We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
The color has a black core with red/brick red rim.
On the nose, it has elegant red and black fruits coupled with fine spice, floral and cedary oak. This wine is from a near perfect vintage and is quite closed, but will really open up in the next few months. The palate is tight and full of restraint. The red fruits build slowly, creating a wonderful juicy richness through the palate, yet is extremely focused at the same time, supported by well handled oak. The flavors are long and juicy, balanced by firm but fine tannins and vibrant
acid. This wine is from probably our best vintage to date and will need a few months to settle down, but will age over the medium to long term and will drink well for at least the next decade if cellared well.
"Strong colour; has more elegance and life than expected, with juicy red fruit flavours nicely framed by fine, ripe tannins and balanced oak.
Australian Wine Companion
"Supple, fleshy, silky and generous with its fresh-tasting plum, blueberry and currant fruit, this red picks up welcome hints of roast meat and spice as the finish lingers easily. Shows intensity, integrity and length. Drink now through 2020."
"Glass-staining purple. Rich blackberry and blueberry compote, mocha and licorice on the nose, along with a hint of dried violet. Fleshy and large-scaled but with surprising vivacity to the flavors of dark berries, mocha and floral pastilles. A lush, textbook Australian shiraz that finishes long and juicy, with echoing florality. This is made from the same sources as the Bella's Garden. "
