Deep purple to black with great depth. Powerful dark fruits explode from the glass revealing dark purple and black fruits such as plum and blackcurrant alongside complex aromas of roasted meats, dark chocolates, charcoal and aniseed. The palate is soft on first approach with great focus showcasing pure Barossa flavors of dark fruits and powerful but balanced tannins. The 2007 Gnarly Dudes is one of the strongest vintages in its relatively short history.
"Bright colour; quite an accessible and fine bouquet of redcurrant, mocha and blackberry; the palate is lively, fresh, focused and very long and even; much brighter on the palate than expected."

"wo Hands' 2007 Gnarly Dudes is a nice balanced wine, managing to be full-bodied and supple in tannins while still coming in under 15% alcohol. Brown sugar and cinnamon shadings accent the main plum and earth elements, all wrapped up in a long, spicy finish. Drink now through 2017."

"Inky ruby. Intensely perfumed bouquet of dark berries, candied cherry and smoky Indian spices. Broad, fleshy red and dark berry flavors are impressively deep and subtly sweet, with notes of licorice and bitter chocolate adding complexity. Smooth and seemingly tannin-free on the persistent, sappy finish."
