Two Hands Gnarly Dudes Shiraz 2005
Syrah/Shiraz
from Barossa Valley, Australia
winemaker's notes:
Gnarly Dudes is named for the gnarly old vines that stand around all lifetime long looking like they are soldiers ready to be led into battle. Year in and year out they throw a crop of beautiful fruit that is tamed and put into this wine. Shiraz grapes, mature vines and the Barossa Valley, there is nothing quite like it.
Color: Deep black with a slight purple hue.
Aroma: Vibrant lifted notes of red berries and rich plum with hints of clove and spice followed by a subtle influence of oak.
Taste: A lush mouth filling palate backed by a core of rich red to purple fruits. Shows a great deal of intensity, but the fruit is lively with a degree of restraint.
