The second vintage of this new wine boasts complex aromas, with hints of chocolate, coffee, licorice, dark berry and violet notes woven into it. The aromas follow to the mouth, with added cherry and toasted oak flavors. What is especially alluring about this wine is that it is both “dark as the night” — big and brawny with ample tannins — yet silky and supple on the palate through the long, lingering finish.
