The indigenous white grape of Argentina. Its character and flavors lie somewhere in between Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. A fragrant, floral nose with ripe peach aromas and a touch of rose and lychee. Fresh and smooth on the palate, with citrus fruit flavors, hints of minerals and a mild, pleasing acidity. A nicely balanced wine with a clean finish.
A beautiful glass. Very mature sparkling flavors with a long finish. Bright and very fruity. Light mouthfeel with lingering notes of apricot and tropical citrus. For $9 you would be hard pressed to find a better white.
Very Viognier-like, slightly sweeter than most other whites...grapefruit is definitely a good description of both the flavor and aroma. Nice surprise - I also received it as a club selection - great for the price.
This was a new wine in my limited experience, but it was a good discovery. It possesses a nice, complex fruit taste, satisfyingly dry, and finishes nicely. I'm on my third bottle. But more importantly, my daughter of the discriminating wine taste, likes it.
